The School of Livelihood and Rural Development (SLRD) is a mission-driven organization committed to addressing the twin challenges of sustainable development and climate change through community-centered approaches. By working closely with local populations, SLRD creates innovative and culturally appropriate solutions that promote resilience and environmental stewardship. Programs focus on enhancing rural livelihoods, conserving biodiversity, adopting renewable energy, and fostering education and awareness.

SLRD operates under Gyanav Social Welfare Society, a 21-year-old organization registered under the Societies Act and recognized with 80G and 12A tax exemptions, making it eligible for CSR funding.
